What We Believe
We believe that the Bible is the divinely inspired and infallible word of God. It is this authority and instruction that guides our faith, actions and doctrine.
We believe that Jesus Christ is the one and only son of the living God. He is the only way to salvation.
We believe in the holy trinity of God. He is represented in three distinct persons: the Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
We believe in the gift of speaking in tongues as divinely appointed by the Holy Spirit.
We believe the miracles, wonders, and healing of God are still active in the world today.
We believe that the only way to receive salvation is by acknowledging our sin and accepting the gift of Jesus Christ through his death, burial and resurrection. Water baptism is symbolic of receiving this new life.
A Life of Faith
Have you ever heard the saying “You are what you eat?” As practical as this may seem, it has very simple biblical principals. God’s word tells us in 2 Corinthians 9:6 “That what you sow, you shall surely reap”.
If you take in bad food, unhealthy conversation and demoralizing TV sitcoms, you are positioning yourself for a harvest of physical, emotional and spiritual death. Not only are we required to have a healthy spiritual life, but God requires truth inside as well as out. Psalm 51:6 Don’t compartmentalize your faith to only assess and amend your spiritual livelihood. Ask the Holy Spirit to guide you in your physical, emotional and mental health as well. Matthew 4:4 says, “That man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds out of the mouth of God.”
With that said, remember to stay in the word, read your Bible and make it personal. Put your name in the place of the “heroes of faith”. says, “To him that knows to do good, and do it not, to him it is sin.” With that said, intentionally partake of God’s word knowing that your investment will reap the benefits of God’s promises. So, remember whether you are dining with family and friends or diving into God’s word today, “you are what you eat”, so eat well my friend.
